Mandate 4.4.1Again I questioned him, saying, “Sir, since you have once undertaken to bear with me, explain this also to me.” “Speak,” he says. “If a wife, sir,” I say, “or a husband falls asleep, and the surviving one marries, does the one who marries sin?”

Mandate 4.4.2“He does not sin,” he says. “But if someone remains alone, he gains for himself greater honor and great glory before the Lord. Yet even if he marries, he does not sin.

Mandate 4.4.3“Guard chastity and reverence, then, and you will live to God. Keep everything I tell you and am going to tell you, from now on, from the day you were handed over to me, and I will dwell in your household.

Mandate 4.4.4“There will be forgiveness for your former transgressions if you keep my commandments. And there will be forgiveness for everyone if they keep these commandments of mine and walk in this purity.”
