Azariah King of Judah
15:1In the twenty-seventh year of Jeroboam king of Israel, Azariah son of Amaziah, king of Judah, became king.
15:2He was sixteen years old when he became king, and he reigned fifty-two years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Chalia, from Jerusalem.
15:3He did what was right in the Lord’s eyes, in accordance with everything his father Amaziah had done.
15:4Only he did not remove the high places; the people still sacrificed and burned incense at the high places.
15:5The Lord touched the king, and he was leprous until the day of his death. He reigned in the house of Apphousoth, while Jotham the king’s son was over the house, judging the people of the land.
15:6The rest of Azariah’s deeds and all that he did—look, are these not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
15:7Azariah lay down with his fathers, and they buried him with his fathers in David’s city. His son Jotham became king in his place.
Zechariah King of Israel
15:8In the thirty-eighth year of Azariah king of Judah, Zechariah son of Jeroboam became king over Israel in Samaria, for six months.
15:9He did evil in the Lord’s eyes as his fathers had done. He did not turn away from the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, who caused Israel to sin.
15:10Sellum son of Jabis and Keblaam conspired against him, struck him, and put him to death; Sellum became king in his place.
15:11The rest of Zechariah’s deeds—look, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.
15:12The Lord’s word which He spoke to Jehu was: ‘Your sons to the fourth generation shall sit on Israel’s throne.’ And so it happened.
Sellum King of Israel
15:13Sellum son of Jabis became king. In the thirty-ninth year of Azariah king of Judah, Sellum reigned a month of days in Samaria.
15:14Manaem son of Gaddi went up from Tharsila, came to Samaria, struck Sellum son of Jabis in Samaria, and put him to death.
15:15The rest of Sellum’s deeds and the conspiracy he formed—look, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.
15:16Then Manaem struck Thersa, everything in it, and its territory from Thersa, because they did not open to him. He struck it and ripped open the pregnant women.
Manaem King of Israel
15:17In the thirty-ninth year of Azariah king of Judah, Manaem son of Gaddi became king over Israel for ten years in Samaria.
15:18He did evil in the Lord’s eyes. He did not turn away from any of the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, who caused Israel to sin.
15:19In his days Phul king of the Assyrians went up against the land. Manaem gave Phul a thousand talents of silver so that his hand would be with him.
15:20Manaem exacted the silver from Israel, from everyone mighty in strength, to give to the king of the Assyrians: fifty shekels for each man. The king of the Assyrians returned and did not remain there in the land.

15:22Manaem lay down with his fathers, and his son Phakeias became king in his place.
Phakeias King of Israel
15:23In the fiftieth year of Azariah king of Judah, Phakeias son of Manaem became king over Israel in Samaria, for two years.
15:24He did evil in the Lord’s eyes. He did not turn away from the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, who caused Israel to sin.
15:25Phakee son of Romelias, his third-ranking officer, conspired against him and struck him in Samaria, in front of the king’s house, with Argob and Aria. With him were fifty men from the four hundred. He put him to death and became king in his place.

Phakee King of Israel
15:27In the fifty-second year of Azariah king of Judah, Phakee son of Romelias became king over Israel in Samaria, for twenty years.
15:28He did evil in the Lord’s eyes. He did not turn away from any of the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, who caused Israel to sin.
15:29In the days of Phakee king of Israel, Thaglathphellasar king of the Assyrians came and took Ain, Abelbaithamaacha, Janoch, Kenez, Asor, Gilead, and Galilee, all Naphtali’s land, and deported them to the Assyrians.
15:30Hoshea son of Ela formed a conspiracy against Phakee son of Romelias, struck him, put him to death, and became king in his place, in the twentieth year of Jotham son of Azariah.

Jotham King of Judah
15:32In the second year of Phakee son of Romelias, king of Israel, Jotham son of Azariah, king of Judah, became king.
15:33He was twenty-five years old when he became king, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Jerusa daughter of Sadok.
15:34He did what was right in the Lord’s eyes, in accordance with everything his father Ozias had done.
15:35Only he did not remove the high places; the people still sacrificed and burned incense at the high places. He built the upper gate of the Lord’s house.
15:36The rest of Jotham’s deeds and everything he did—are these not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
15:37In those days the Lord began sending Raasson king of Syria and Phakee son of Romelias against Judah.
15:38Jotham lay down with his fathers and was buried with his fathers in the city of his father David. His son Ahaz became king in his place.
