I Will Walk in the Integrity of My Heart Within My House

100:1Of David. A psalm.

I will sing mercy and judgment to You, Lord;

100:2I will make music and understand in a blameless way.

When will You come to me?

I used to walk in innocence of my heart within my house.

100:3I did not set a lawless matter before my eyes;

I hated those who commit transgressions.

100:4A crooked heart did not cling to me;

when the evil one turned away from me, I did not know him.

100:5The one secretly speaking against his neighbor I used to drive away;

with a proud eye and an insatiable heart, with that one I did not eat.

100:6My eyes were on the faithful of the land, that they might sit with me;

the one walking in a blameless way used to minister to me.

100:7One practicing arrogance did not dwell within my house;

one speaking unjust things did not prosper before my eyes.

100:8In the mornings I used to kill all the sinners of the land,

to destroy from the Lord’s city all who practice lawlessness.
