134:1Hallelujah!

Praise the Lord’s name;

praise the Lord, slaves,

134:2you who stand in the Lord’s house,

in the courts of our God’s house.

134:3Praise the Lord, for the Lord is good;

make music to His name, for it is beautiful.

134:4For the Lord chose Jacob for Himself,

Israel as His special possession.

134:5For I knew that the Lord is great,

and our Lord is above all the gods.

134:6Everything the Lord willed, He did,

in heaven and on earth,

in the seas and all the abysses.

134:7He brings clouds up from the earth’s extremity;

He made lightning for rain;

He brings winds out of His treasuries.

134:8He struck Egypt’s firstborn,

from human to beast.

134:9He sent out signs and wonders into your midst, Egypt,

upon Pharaoh and all his slaves.

134:10He struck many nations

and killed powerful kings,

134:11Sihon king of the Amorites,

Og king of Bashan,

and all Canaan’s kingdoms.

134:12He gave their land as an inheritance,

an inheritance to Israel His people.

134:13Lord, Your name is forever;

Lord, Your memorial is from generation to generation.

134:14For the Lord will judge His people

and be comforted concerning His slaves.

134:15The nations’ idols are silver and gold,

works of human hands.

134:16They have a mouth but will not speak;

they have eyes but will not see.

134:17They have ears but will not listen;

they have noses but will not smell;

they have hands but will not touch;

they have feet but will not walk;

they will not sound in their throat,

for there is no breath in their mouth.

134:18May those who make them become like them,

and all who trust in them.

134:19House of Israel, bless the Lord;

house of Aaron, bless the Lord.

134:20House of Levi, bless the Lord;

you who fear the Lord, bless the Lord.

134:21Blessed be the Lord from Zion,

He who dwells in Jerusalem.
