Verse 8:1

Biblical connection — Explicit scriptural quotation: Jeremiah 31:31-34. Hebrews repeats Jeremiah's new-covenant promise and interprets it in relation to Christ's priestly ministry.
Verse 8:9

not according to the covenant I made with their fathers on the day I took hold of their hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, because they did not remain in My covenant, and I disregarded them, says the Lord.

Disregarded them preserves the Greek quotation in Hebrews. It is not harmonized to a different Hebrew wording of Jeremiah.
Verse 8:10
