Similitude 8.10.1“Those who handed over green rods whose very tips were dry and split have always been good, faithful, and glorious before God. Yet they sinned a very little through small desires and by holding minor grievances against one another. But after hearing my sayings, most repented quickly, and their dwelling came to be in the tower.

Similitude 8.10.2“Some of them became double-minded; others, becoming double-minded, caused greater division. There is hope of repentance among these, because they have always been good. It is unlikely that any of them will die.

Similitude 8.10.3“Those who handed over dry rods with only a very small green part are those who merely believed, yet practiced lawless deeds. They never fell away from God, gladly bore the name, and gladly welcomed God’s servants into their homes. When they heard of this repentance, they repented without hesitation and now practice every excellence and righteousness.

Similitude 8.10.4“Some of them are also afraid, recognizing the deeds they have done. The dwelling of all these, therefore, will be in the tower.”
