So He came again to Cana of Galilee, where He made the water wine. And there was a certain royal official whose son was ill in Capernaum. When this man heard that Jesus had come from Judea into Galilee, he went to Him and asked Him to come down and heal his son, for he was about to die. So Jesus said to him, “Unless you all see signs and wonders, you will certainly not believe.” The royal official said to Him, “Sir, come down before my little child dies.” Jesus said to him, “Go; your son lives.” The man believed the word Jesus spoke to him and went on his way. While he was already going down, his slaves met him, saying that his boy was alive. So he asked them the hour when he had begun to improve. They said to him, “Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him.” So the father knew that it was in that hour when Jesus said to him, “Your son lives,” and he believed, he and his whole household. This again was the second sign Jesus did when He came from Judea into Galilee.
