Awake, My Glory; I Will Awaken the Dawn

107:1A song of a psalm of David.

107:2My heart is ready, God; my heart is ready.

I will sing and make music in my glory.

107:3Awake, psaltery and lyre!

I will awake at dawn.

107:4I will thank You among peoples, Lord,

and make music to You among nations,

107:5for Your mercy is great above the heavens,

and Your truth reaches the clouds.

107:6Be exalted above the heavens, God,

and Your glory over all the earth.

107:7So that Your beloved ones may be rescued,

save with Your right hand and hear me.

107:8God spoke in His holy place:

I will be exalted and divide Shechem

and measure out the valley of tents.

107:9Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine;

Ephraim is the support of my head;

Judah is my king.

107:10Moab is the cauldron of my hope;

over Idumea I will extend my sandal;

foreign peoples were subjected to me.

107:11Who will lead me to a city of enclosure?

Who will guide me as far as Idumea?

107:12Is it not You, God, who rejected us?

You will not go out, God, with our forces.

107:13Give us help from affliction,

for human salvation is futile.

107:14In God we will act with power,

and He will bring our enemies to nothing.
