Greek Psalm 119
Too Long Has My Soul Dwelt Among Those Who Hate Peace
← Greek Psalm 118 · Psalms: all chapters · Greek Psalm 120 →
119:1A song of the steps.
To the Lord, when I was afflicted,
I cried, and He heard me.
119:2Lord, rescue my soul from unjust lips
and from a deceitful tongue.
119:3What might be given to you, and what might be added to you,
against a deceitful tongue?
119:4The mighty one’s sharpened arrows,
with desert coals.
119:5Alas for me, for my sojourn has been prolonged;
I have encamped among the tents of Kedar.
119:6My soul has sojourned a long time.
119:7With those who hate peace I was peaceable;
whenever I spoke to them, they fought me without cause.
