120:1A song of the ascents.

I lifted my eyes to the mountains.

From where will my help come?

120:2My help is from the Lord,

who made heaven and earth.

120:3Do not give your foot over to shaking,

and may your Keeper not slumber.

120:4Look, the One guarding Israel

will neither slumber nor sleep.

120:5The Lord will guard you;

the Lord is your shelter at your right hand.

120:6By day the sun will not scorch you,

nor the moon by night.

120:7The Lord will guard you from all evil;

He will guard your soul.

120:8The Lord will guard your coming in and your going out,

from now and forever.
