Greek Psalm 45

God Is Our Refuge and Strength, a Help in Troubles

45:1For the end. Concerning the sons of Korah. A psalm concerning hidden things.

45:2Our God is refuge and strength,

a helper in the afflictions that have greatly overtaken us.

45:3Therefore we will not fear when the earth is disturbed

and mountains are displaced into the hearts of seas.

45:4Their waters roared and were disturbed;

the mountains were disturbed at his might. Diapsalma.

45:5The river’s rushing streams gladden God’s city;

the Most High sanctified His dwelling.

45:6God is in her midst; she will not be shaken;

God will help her toward morning.

45:7Nations were disturbed; kingdoms bent;

He gave His voice; the earth was shaken.

45:8The Lord of powers is with us;

Jacob’s God is our supporter. Diapsalma.

45:9Come, see the Lord’s works,

the wonders He has set upon the earth.

45:10Bringing wars to an end as far as the earth’s limits,

He will shatter a bow and break a weapon apart

and burn shields in fire.

45:11“Cease your activity and know that I am God;

I will be exalted among the nations, exalted in the earth.”

45:12The Lord of powers is with us;

Jacob’s God is our supporter.
