46:1For the end. A psalm concerning the sons of Korah.

46:2All nations, clap your hands;

shout to God with a voice of exultation.

46:3For the Lord Most High is fearsome,

a great King over all the earth.

46:4He subjected peoples to us

and nations beneath our feet.

46:5He chose His inheritance for us,

the beauty of Jacob, which He loved. Diapsalma.

46:6God ascended with a shout of triumph,

the Lord with the sound of a trumpet.

46:7Make music to our God, make music;

make music to our King, make music.

46:8For God is King of all the earth;

make music with understanding.

46:9God reigned over the nations;

God sits upon His holy throne.

46:10The rulers of peoples gathered with Abraham’s God;

for the mighty of the earth belong to God;

they were greatly exalted.
