64:1For the end. A psalm of David, a song. Of Jeremiah and Ezekiel, from the account of the sojourn, when they were about to depart.

64:2A hymn befits You, God, in Zion,

and to You a vow will be paid in Jerusalem.

64:3Hear my prayer;

to You all flesh will come.

64:4Words of lawless deeds overpowered us,

and You will make atonement for our impieties.

64:5Blessed is the one You chose and took to Yourself;

he will dwell in Your courts.

We will be filled with the good things of Your house;

holy is Your sanctuary, wondrous in righteousness.

64:6Hear us, God our Savior,

the hope of all earth’s ends

and of those far away at sea,

64:7who prepares mountains in His strength,

girded with power;

64:8who troubles the sea’s hollow,

the sounds of its waves.

The nations will be troubled,

64:9and those dwelling at the ends will fear Your signs;

You will gladden the departures of morning and evening.

64:10You visited the earth and made it drunk;

You multiplied its enrichment.

God’s river was filled with water;

You prepared their food, for thus is Your preparation.

64:11Make its furrows drunk;

multiply its produce;

in its drops it will rejoice as it sprouts.

64:12You will bless the crown of the year of Your kindness,

and Your plains will be filled with richness.

64:13The beautiful places of the wilderness will grow rich,

and the hills will gird themselves with exultation.

64:14The rams of the sheep clothed themselves,

and the valleys will abound in grain;

they will cry out, for indeed they will sing hymns.
