69:1For the end. Of David. For remembrance,

69:2for the Lord to save me.

God, attend to my help!

69:3May those seeking my soul be ashamed and confounded;

may those wishing me evil turn backward and be disgraced.

69:4May those saying to me, “Well! Well!”

turn back immediately in shame.

69:5Let all who seek You exult and be glad in You;

let those who love Your salvation always say,

“Let God be magnified!”

69:6But I am poor and needy;

God, help me!

You are my helper and my rescuer;

Lord, do not delay!
