I Am My Beloved’s, and His Desire Is Toward Me

7:1Return, return, Shulammite! Return, return, and we shall look at you. What will you see in the Shulammite? She comes like dances of the camps.
7:2How beautiful your steps in sandals have become, daughter of Nadab! The rhythms of your thighs are like necklaces, the work of a craftsman’s hands.
7:3Your navel is a sculpted mixing bowl, not lacking mixed wine; your belly is a heap of grain fenced about with lilies.
7:4Your two breasts are like two fawns, twins of a gazelle.
7:5Your neck is like an ivory tower; your eyes are like pools in Heshbon at the gates of the daughter of many. Your nose is like Lebanon’s tower looking toward Damascus.
7:6Your head upon you is like Carmel, and the braid of your head is like purple; a king is bound in passageways.
7:7How beautiful and how delightful you have become, love, in your delights!
7:8This stature of yours has been compared to a palm tree, and your breasts to clusters.
7:9I said: I will climb the palm tree; I will grasp its heights. Then your breasts will be like clusters of the vine, and the fragrance of your nose like apples,
7:10and your throat like good wine, going straight to my kinsman, suited to my lips and teeth.
7:11I am my kinsman’s, and his turning is toward me.
7:12Come, my kinsman, let us go out into the field; let us lodge in the villages.
7:13Let us rise early for the vineyards; let us see whether the vine has blossomed, whether the bloom has flowered, whether the pomegranates have flowered. There I will give you my breasts.
7:14The mandrakes have given fragrance, and at our doors are all tree fruits, new together with old, which I have kept for you, my kinsman.
