The Altar of Burnt Offering
27:1You shall make an altar of decay-resistant wood, five cubits long and five cubits wide. The altar shall be square and three cubits high.
27:2You shall make horns on its four corners, of one piece with it, and cover them with bronze.
27:3You shall make a rim for the altar, its cover, bowls, meat forks, and firepan. You shall make all its utensils of bronze.
27:4You shall make a bronze grating of network for it, with four bronze rings on its four sides.
27:5You shall place them beneath the altar’s grating, and the grating shall reach halfway up the altar.
27:6You shall make carrying poles of decay-resistant wood for the altar and overlay them with bronze.
27:7You shall put the carrying poles through the rings, and they shall lie along the altar’s sides when it is carried.
27:8You shall make it hollow, with boards. You shall make it as you were shown on the mountain.
The Courtyard
27:9You shall make a court for the tabernacle. On the side toward the southwest there shall be court hangings of spun fine linen a hundred cubits long on that side,
27:10with twenty posts and twenty bronze bases, and silver rings and braces.
27:11Likewise, on the side toward the east there shall be hangings a hundred cubits long, with twenty posts and twenty bronze bases; the rings, the posts’ braces, and their bases shall be silver-plated.
27:12On the side toward the sea, across the court’s width, there shall be hangings fifty cubits long, with ten posts and ten bases.
27:13Across the court’s width on the south side there shall be hangings fifty cubits long, with ten posts and ten bases.
27:14The hangings on one side shall be fifteen cubits high, with three posts and three bases.
27:15On the second side the hangings shall be fifteen cubits high, with three posts and three bases.
27:16For the court’s gate there shall be a covering twenty cubits high, of blue, purple, and spun scarlet yarn and spun fine linen, embroidered needlework, with four posts and four bases.
27:17All the posts around the court shall be silver-plated, with silver capitals and bronze bases.
27:18The court’s length shall be a hundred by a hundred, its width fifty by fifty, and its height five cubits, with spun fine linen and bronze bases.
27:19All the equipment, all the tools, and the court’s pegs shall be bronze.
Oil for the Lampstand
27:20You shall command the sons of Israel to bring you pure beaten olive oil, free of sediment, for the light, so that a lamp may burn continually
27:21in the Tent of Testimony, outside the veil over the covenant. Aaron and his sons shall burn it from evening to morning before the Lord, a perpetual statute throughout your generations on behalf of the sons of Israel.
