Fabricating the Inner and Outer Curtains
37:1They made ten curtains for the tent.
37:2Each curtain was twenty-eight cubits long; all were alike. Each curtain was four cubits wide.
Veil and Entrance Screen
37:3They made the veil of blue, purple, spun scarlet, and spun fine linen, with woven cherubim.
37:4They placed it on four pillars of decay-resistant wood overlaid with gold. Their capitals were gold, and their four bases were silver.
37:5They made the entrance veil of the Tent of Testimony of blue, purple, spun scarlet, and spun fine linen, with woven cherubim.
37:6They made its five pillars and their rings, overlaid their capitals and their bands with gold, and made their five bases of bronze.
Making the Courtyard
37:7They made the court, with its southwest hangings of spun fine linen, a hundred by a hundred.
37:8There were twenty pillars and twenty bases.
37:9The north side was a hundred by a hundred, with twenty pillars and twenty bases.
37:10On the side toward the sea were curtains of fifty cubits, with ten pillars and ten bases.
37:11On the east side were fifty cubits.
37:12On the flank were hangings of fifteen cubits, with three pillars and three bases.
37:13On the second flank, on either side by the gate of the court, were curtains of fifteen cubits, with three pillars and three bases.
37:14All the curtains of the court were of spun fine linen.
37:15Their pillars’ bases were bronze, their hooks silver, their capitals overlaid with silver, and all the court’s pillars overlaid with silver.
37:16The veil for the court’s gate was embroidered in blue, purple, spun scarlet, and spun fine linen. It was twenty cubits long, with its height and breadth five cubits, matching the court’s hangings.
37:17–18aThere were four pillars and four bronze bases, with silver hooks and capitals overlaid with silver; the pillars themselves were overlaid with silver.
37:18bAll the pegs around the court were bronze.
Materials of the Tabernacle
37:19This is the arrangement of the Tent of Testimony, as appointed for Moses, with the service belonging to the Levites through Ithamar son of Aaron the priest.
37:20Bezalel son of Uri, of the tribe of Judah, did as the Lord commanded Moses.
37:21Eliab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, directed the woven, needleworked, and embroidered work, weaving in scarlet and fine linen.
