His Feet Will Stand on the Mount of Olives

The Nations Gathered Against Jerusalem
14:1Look, days of the Lord are coming, and your spoils will be divided within you.
14:2I will gather all the nations against Jerusalem for war. The city will be captured, the houses plundered and the women violated. Half the city will go into captivity, but the remnant of My people will certainly not be destroyed from the city.
14:3The Lord will go out and draw up for battle among those nations, as on the day of His battle formation on a day of war.
His Feet Will Stand on the Mount of Olives
14:4On that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives opposite Jerusalem to the east. The Mount of Olives will split, half of it toward the east and half toward the sea—a very great chasm; half the mountain will incline north and half south.
14:5The ravine of My mountains will be blocked; the mountain ravine will be joined as far as Iasol and blocked as it was blocked in the days of the earthquake, in the days of Oziah king of Judah. The Lord my God will come, and all the holy ones with Him.
14:6On that day there will be no light, cold or ice.
14:7It will last one day, and that day is known to the Lord, neither day nor night; toward evening there will be light.
14:8On that day living water will go out from Jerusalem, half into the first sea and half into the last sea; it will be so in summer and spring.
The Lord Will Be King over All the Earth
14:9The Lord will be king over all the earth. On that day the Lord will be one, and His name one,
14:10encircling all the land and the wilderness from Gabe to Remmon south of Jerusalem. Rama will remain in its place, from Benjamin’s Gate to the place of the First Gate, to the Gate of Corners and to Ananeel’s Tower, to the king’s wine vats.
14:11They will dwell in her; there will no longer be anything accursed, and Jerusalem will dwell confidently.
The Downfall of Those Who Warred Against Jerusalem
14:12This will be the downfall with which the Lord strikes all the peoples who marched against Jerusalem: their flesh will melt while they stand on their feet; their eyes will flow from their sockets, and their tongue will melt in their mouth.
14:13On that day great bewilderment from the Lord will be upon them. Each will seize his neighbor’s hand, and his hand will grapple with his neighbor’s hand.
14:14Judah will draw up for battle in Jerusalem and gather the strength of all the surrounding peoples: gold, silver and clothing in very great abundance.
14:15This will also be the downfall of horses, mules, camels, donkeys and every animal in those camps, according to this downfall.
The Nations Come Up to Keep the Feast
14:16Whoever remains from all the nations that came against Jerusalem will go up each year to bow before the King, the Lord Almighty, and celebrate the Festival of Tent-Pitching.
14:17Whoever among all the earth’s tribes does not go up to Jerusalem to bow before the King, the Lord Almighty—these will be added to those.
14:18If Egypt’s tribe does not go up or come there, upon these too will be the downfall with which the Lord strikes all the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Festival of Tent-Pitching.
14:19This will be Egypt’s sin and the sin of all the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Festival of Tent-Pitching.
14:20On that day what is upon the horse’s bridle will be holy to the Lord Almighty, and the cauldrons in the Lord’s house will be like bowls before the altar.
14:21Every cauldron in Jerusalem and Judah will be holy to the Lord Almighty. All who sacrifice will come, take some of them and boil in them. No Canaanite will remain in the house of the Lord Almighty on that day.
