Open Questions
Psalm 102:24–25: Hebrew displayed his strength versus Greek he answered him requires review of clause subjects and speech boundaries; no supplied Father–Son dialogue. Do not substitute my strength from an unconsulted qere.
Psalm 103:5: Hebrew edyekh is provisionally your adornment. Mouth, desire, and old-age proposals require lexical/textual review; Rashi’s eagle explanation does not establish a mouth gloss.
Psalm 104:4,8,15,17,26: review messengers/winds predicate orientation; the rising mountains versus retreating waters syntax; oil comparison; the terse Greek heron-house clause; and the play-with-it agent. Present notes preserve the alternatives.
Psalm 105:18,22,40: review the Hebrew iron/soul construal, bind versus Greek instruct, and the singular asked followed by God’s bringing quail; do not smooth away the displayed grammatical changes.
Psalm 106:30,33: Hebrew intervened and Greek made atonement need lexical review; Greek diesteilen is provisionally issued command. The referent of his spirit remains unresolved between Moses and God.
Psalm96:9 holy splendor may denote holy adornment; the translation does not specify a garment.
Psalm97:1 the historical setting of the Greek land-establishment heading remains unspecified.
Psalm99:3 Hebrew masculine holy is He can refer to God or to the masculine noun name. The provisional pronoun choice must not be presented as a grammatically exclusive determination.
Psalm99:4 the personified royal strength or honor loving judgment is retained; more idiomatic syntactic alternatives require review.
Psalm99:5 the Hebrew holiness pronoun can grammatically attach to God or footstool; Greek masculine holy clearly favors God.
