112:1Hallelujah!
Praise the Lord, servants;
praise the name of the Lord.
112:2May the name of the Lord be blessed
from now and forever.
112:3From the sun’s risings to its settings,
praise the name of the Lord.
112:4The Lord is high above all nations;
His glory is above the heavens.
112:5Who is like the Lord our God,
who dwells in high places,
112:6and looks upon lowly things
in heaven and on earth?
112:7He raises the poor from the ground
and lifts the needy from the dung heap,
112:8to seat him with rulers,
with the rulers of His people.
112:9He settles a barren woman in a house
as a mother of children rejoicing.
