Greek Psalm 137

Though I Walk in the Midst of Trouble, You Will Revive Me

137:1For David.

I will thank You, Lord, with all my heart,

for You heard the words of my mouth,

and before angels I will make music to You.

137:2I will bow toward Your holy temple

and thank Your name for Your mercy and Your truth,

for You have magnified Your utterance above every name.

137:3On whatever day I call You, hear me quickly;

You will greatly attend to me with strength in my soul.

137:4Let all earth’s kings thank You, Lord,

for they heard all the words of Your mouth.

137:5And let them sing in the Lord’s ways,

for great is the Lord’s glory.

137:6For the Lord is high and watches the lowly,

and the lofty He knows from afar.

137:7If I walk amid affliction, You will keep me alive;

against my enemies’ anger You stretched out Your hand,

and Your right hand saved me.

137:8The Lord will repay on my behalf.

Lord, Your mercy is forever;

do not neglect the works of Your hands.
