75:1For the end, among hymns.

A psalm of Asaph; a song concerning the Assyrian.

75:2God is known in Judea;

His name is great in Israel.

75:3His place came to be in peace,

and His dwelling in Zion.

75:4There He crushed the bows’ powers,

weapon and sword and war.

Diapsalma.

75:5You give light wondrously

from everlasting mountains.

75:6All those without understanding in heart were troubled;

they slept their sleep,

and all the men of wealth found nothing with their hands.

75:7At Your rebuke, God of Jacob,

those mounted on horses grew drowsy.

75:8You are fearsome, and who will withstand You?

From that time is Your wrath.

75:9From heaven You caused judgment to be heard;

the earth feared and grew quiet,

75:10when God arose for judgment,

to save all the earth’s meek.

Diapsalma.

75:11For human thought will acknowledge You,

and the remainder of thought will keep a feast for You.

75:12Make vows and repay the Lord your God;

all around Him will bring gifts

75:13to the Fearsome One, who takes away rulers’ spirits,

who is fearsome among the earth’s kings.
