The Sons of Benjamin

8:1Benjamin fathered Bale his firstborn, Asbel the second, Aara the third,

8:2Noa the fourth and Raphe the fifth.

8:3Bale had sons: Ader, Gera, and Abioud,

8:4Abisoue, Nooma, and Achia,

8:5Gera, Sopharphak, and Oim.

8:6These were the sons of Aod. These were rulers of ancestral houses of those dwelling in Gabee, and they resettled them in Manachathi:

8:7Nooma, Achia, and Gera—this one, Iglaam—and he fathered Naana and Achichod.

8:25Athin, Jepheria, and Pheliel were sons of Sosek.

8:26Samsaria, Saaria, and Ogotholia,

8:27Jarasia, Elijah, and Zechri were sons of Iraam.

8:28These were rulers of ancestral houses according to their generations, rulers. These dwelt in Jerusalem.

8:35The sons of Michia: Phithon, Melchel, Theree, and Achaz.

8:36Achaz fathered Joiada; Joiada fathered Galemath, Asmoth, and Zambri; Zambri fathered Maisa.

8:37Maisa fathered Baana; Raphaia was his son, Elasa his son, and Esel his son.

8:38Esel had six sons, and these were their names: Ezrikam his firstborn, Ismael, Saraia, Abdia, and Anan. All these were sons of Esel.

8:39The sons of Asel his brother: Ailam his firstborn, Jais the second, Eliphalet the third.

8:40Ailam’s sons were strong men of power who drew the bow and increased in sons and sons’ sons—one hundred fifty. All these were from Benjamin’s sons.
