Leaving Nazareth, He came and settled in Capernaum beside the sea, in the territories of Zebulun and Naphtali, so that what was spoken through Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled: “Land of Zebulun and land of Naphtali, the way of the sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the nations: the people sitting in darkness saw a great light, and for those sitting in the region and shadow of death a light rose.”
